Q: Can I vote by mail?
Yes! Actually in Colorado, as soon as you’re registered, Colorado sends you a ballot automatically. All you have to do is mail it back by November 3. The last day a clerk can send a mail ballot is 8 days before the election, but you can pick one up in-person, or register online on Election Day.
Q: Can I vote early?
Yes! You can vote early between October 19 and November 2.
Q: Do I need an ID?
You can vote in person instead of by mail. If you decide to do that, you’ll need one of the following: a Colorado driver’s license or ID, a U.S. Passport, a Medicare or Medicaid card, a birth certificate or naturalization document, a tribal certificate, or a few other options.
Q: This is my home state, but I won't be home for this election. Can I still vote here?
Colorado is exclusively vote by mail, so if you’re registered, you’re automatically sent a ballot. All you have to do is mail it back so that it arrives by November 3. If you won’t be home to receive your mail ballot, you can submit an address change request by Oct. 26th.
